If you’re looking for a good content writer for your B2B SaaS brand, you’re in the right place
Think of quality content as a long-term investment—it helps your clients become better at their job, hobby, or personal life, gives a solution for a problem they’re looking to solve, or helps them learn something new. Whether it’s a monthly blog article, detailed user guide, or an eBook, your content can make the difference beyond converting leads.
Services I offer
- Blog articles
- Long-form content writing (articles, thought leadership pieces, white papers, eBooks)
- Case studies
- Technical documentation (user guides from scratch or existing content overhaul to bring it up to date, retain existing customers, and appeal to fresh prospects)
- Content refresh (repurpose your old content with fresh statistics, SEO-friendly writing practices, and insights from new subject matter expert interviews)
Industries I cover
- Cloud computing
- Design and photography
I charge based on individual project scope but for transparency, my minimum project start rate is £450/$450. I don’t do unpaid trial work, but you’re welcome to look through my portfolio to see if I’m the right fit or contact me to chat more.
Custom projects will look different, but this is what I deliver for a typical blog piece.
Time spent researching, finding relevant data, and interviewing subject matter experts to create quality content that builds your brand authority.
Outline for your approval so we’re off to a good start and two draft revisions to finetune each piece before it reaches your audience.
SEO-friendly writing practices and visual assets (images, screenshots, or graphics suggestions for your designers).
How will we work together
After discussing my availability and your project needs, you will assign me content topic and detailed content brief, so I have everything I need to get started. I’m happy to jump on a call to discuss projects, especially if we’re working together for the first time (between 9am-4pm BST/GMT).
2. Deposit payment
After we’ve both agreed on the project terms and the outline deadline, I will send a 50% deposit invoice (payable upon receipt) before I start the work. I work with international clients and can accept different payment methods (Stripe, USD/GBP/EUR bank payment, Payoneer).
To make sure we’re heading in the right direction, I will create an outline based on your content brief and send it as a Google Doc. This way, you and/or all relevant stakeholders can have their input in shaping the piece before I write. Outline write-up can take between 3-5 business days depending on the project.
4. Writing process
After all stakeholders have approved the outline, it’s time for me to interview subject matter experts and write. Some blog articles may take 3-7 business days for the writeup, while longer-form pieces will be 7+ business days. Sometimes, life gets in the way and SMEs have to cancel or postpone their interviews, but I will always communicate the deadline expectations, so you’re never left guessing.
5. Final balance
I will also issue a final payment invoice upon submitting my first draft. My preferred payment method is net15, but if your company has strict payroll schedules, we can discuss net30 or a particular month’s date.
6. Last touches
When you receive my first draft, it’s time for you to leave any comments and suggestions. I only request that all stakeholders have input and that all changes are submitted at once. I will do up to one draft revision and send back the piece for a last look, so it is ready to be published. ✨
Questions you may want to ask
Yes! Most of my work is by-lined, but if you’re looking for ghost-written content, I require an additional 20% payment. This helps make up for not being able to build on my brand name and authority.
I create outlines and write drafts in a Google Doc I can share with you and all stakeholders. You can then jump in the document to make any comments and suggestions.
For all new projects, I request at least a two-week lead time. This may change throughout the year and depends on holidays and other projects. If you content needs to get out YESTERDAY, I can offer a 25% priority fee but the easiest thing to do is get in touch and start the conversation today.
If you send any outline or draft revisions/requests 30 or more days after I submitted my work to you, I will consider it a fresh project and invoice accordingly. This has never happened so far, though! We are all human so if there are any circumstances out of our control, I will always communicate it as soon as possible and would expect the same from my clients.
Writing and creating content is my passion but there are some aspects of marketing that I don’t do:
- Content planning
- Social media management
- SEO strategy
- Outreach to publications for article submissions
Working with international clients, async communication works best for me (email, Loom, or Slack for some projects). I’m happy to get on a call for kick-off and other major milestones (between 9am-4pm BST/GMT, usually Thursdays)
