Getting Started Guide
Hello. 👋 I’m Anete, a content writer for SaaS tech brands. I cover long-form content, user guides, whitepapers, and more — all of which help my clients build authority in their niche, raise brand awareness, and answer their clients’ questions.
This is a quick guide to see if we’re a good match for your next project. Read on to learn more about who I am, what I do, and how I do it. Basically, I want to ensure we’re a good fit for each other. Nobody wants to spend hours emailing back and forth, only to find this is not a great match!
Anete brings a fantastic energy to her work that makes collaborating with her feel effortless. She's proactive and flexible, working to the spirit and intention of the brief, which meant that it always felt like things were on track. Really happy with where we got to as well. Highly recommended!

A note from Anete
If you’re reading this, you’ve probably seen thousands of portfolios before. Maybe you’ve even hired a few writers in the past who’ve produced results ranging from awful to “meh.”
When I started my writing business, I wanted to do things differently and work with people who:
- Can make (and act on) every business decision. No committee work.
- Are quick and decisive. You understand your audience and you’re happy to leave the detail work to me.
- Value simple, clear solutions.
- Can commit the required time to complete the project.
- Treat freelancers like collaborators, not staff.
I’m not a sales person so I won’t try selling to you. Instead, I want to help you create something that reflects your brand and drives new business your way. Something you and I both are proud to share with your audience.
My Process
Onboarding
I get nosy about your business goals and focus areas to make sure we’re a good fit. We then hash out our shared vision and expectations for the project. Note that I only take on about 20% of the projects that come my way—not because I’m a jerk, but because I need to ensure that I can give you exceptional value from your investment in the project.
- You provide: honest answers and a clear vision for your business and how you serve your audience.
- Outcome: I formalize the deliverables, we both sign the proposal, and you complete the down payment.
Strategy
We collaborate to flesh out the specifics of the project as well as deliverables. We’ll determine due dates for revisions and a complete scope of work.
- You provide: availability to talk for 1-2 hours.
- Outcome: a one-page PDF that outlines the scope of work, deliverables, and timetables, as well as a strategic plan for how it all comes together.
Development
I work on solving your problem by developing a [project type]. We’ll revise as needed [X rounds of revisions are included in this project] and put together a final product.
- You provide: The necessary getting started data and materials [include a bullet list] and prompt revisions during the development process.
- Outcome: The end product will help you overcome the obstacles we discussed such as [list client pain points/problems to be addressed.]
Launch
Once any necessary testing is wrapped, we officially finish the project and release it out into the world.
- You provide: launch promotion and engagement with your audience.
- Outcome: New eyeballs on the finished project geared toward achieving our end objective.

FAQs
Where can I see your previous work?[ Insert links to relevant examples]
What if you miss a deadline? This has never happened, but if it does, I’ll happily discount your final rate.
What if I miss a deadline? This whole process works because we both have strict deadlines. If you can’t dedicate time to the project, this isn’t a good fit. That said, if it should work, but you can’t keep up your end of the timeline for any reason, billing at my day rate starts after the end date passes.
What is a round of revisions? One round of revisions means that you give me a single list of the changes you’d like made. Because this work is done on a timeline, it’s important to sum up all your thoughts and changes in a single place (one call or email) and to hand those over to me.

If you think we’ll fit like your favorite pair of jeans, the next step is to fill in this project planner so I can learn more about who you are and what you do. And let me tell you, right now, I can’t wait.
